R.D. Zink, of Counsel
R.D. Zink was born in Indianapolis and grew up in Madison, Indiana. He graduated from Rose Polytechnic Institute (now Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology) with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with honors in 1970. After serving in the U.S. Navy as a diving and salvage officer, he graduated from IU-Indianapolis Law School in January 1978.
R.D. has practiced primarily in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on insurance defense work since starting his practice in 1978. He is a Certified Mediator in Indiana and is an approved arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He is admitted to practice in all courts in Indiana, the northern and southern Federal District Courts and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. R.D. is a member of the ABA, ISBA, IBA, DTCI and DRI.
R.D. has earned the ‘AV’ rating from his peers. This rating signifies his recognition as a preeminent professional both in his skills as an attorney and in his professional ethics.
In his spare time, R.D trains for and competes in triathlons on the local and regional race circuit. He and his wife, Marlene, live in Noblesville. They have three grown children who all live in the area.
