Garrett Lewis, Associate Attorney
Garrett Lewis was born in Rome, New York, and he and his family moved around frequently until finally planting roots in northern Indiana. In 2012, he graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Management and Marketing. Garrett then went on to study at Valparaiso University School of Law, where he also engaged in numerous extra-curricular activities as an intern, legal writing teaching assistant and member of both the trial advocacy and moot court teams. Garrett participated in national competitions on each of those teams. After obtaining his law degree in 2014 and being admitted to the Indiana Bar, Garrett began his legal career by engaging with clients in need of personal injury and workers’ compensation representation. He then joined a firm in northern Indiana, where he represented clients in civil matters involving a wide range of legal issues, including intellectual property (trademarks, patents and copyrights), business, real estate, construction defects, contracts, torts, collections, evictions, and personal injury. Garrett joined Goodin Abernathy, LLP in April of 2020, where he primarily practices in the areas of contracts, torts, insurance defense, and personal injury. Garrett now lives in Fishers and frequently makes weekend trips back up to northern Indiana, spending the vast majority of his free time with his family and friends.
